The Captain

Born and raised in Massachusetts, USCG Capt. Michael Conley has been a lifelong resident of New England waters for over 45 years. As a ( Navy brat) I've been on the water and around boats my whole life. My dad gave me his love for the ocean and it's never left me. I fish mainly Boston Harbor and surrounding waters from May to November for stripers and bluefish.Fly fishing is my passion and in 1987 I came in tied for 1st place at the Marthas Vineyard Derby in the boat fly rod division for bonito.

I use a 23' Seacraft center console with a 225hp Evinrude engine. The boat has plenty of space for fly casting ,or playing a fish.It also has a live well for mackerel and pogies when fishing with live bait. Equipped with state of the art Simrad NSS9 Evo3 Chartplotter/ fishfinder and 4G Radar. This year I'll be putting on a t-top for shade.
